About AFSA
The African Forensic Sciences Academy (AFSA) is the only formally registered Academy in Africa that represents forensic science practitioners from all fields across Africa, which has independent oversight. AFSA was founded in December 2022 and registered with the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) on 09 March 2023 as an International Non-Governmental organisation (INGO) with registration number: N0000011 RGB 1 NGO 1 RC 1 0312023. AFSA is officially hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, by the Rwanda Forensic Institute (RFI). For further information on AFSA please visit https://www.AFSA.Africa.
